IBS Special Care

All your reports are normal, yet you still suffer from pain, gas and constipation? The answer is here.

Understand with Lalmani Maurya (Neurotherapist) why IBS is mostly not a stomach problem at all it starts with a displaced navel (nabhi khisakna) and a disturbed gut-brain connection, and how it can be corrected without medication.

Hello, I am Lalmani Maurya. Over the years I have seen hundreds of patients whose endoscopy, ultrasound and blood reports come back 'normal' yet their stomach never lets them live in peace. In most of these cases, the real culprit is a displaced navel. Once I correct the nabhi and reset the gut-brain connection, the symptoms begin to fade without any surgery or heavy medication. Most Important Point - Read First

In Most IBS Cases, the Root Cause Is Navel Displacement
(Nabhi Khisakna)

Before you read anything else on this page, understand this one point clearly: in the majority of IBS cases, the stomach is not the real problem at all. The root cause is that the navel (nabhi) has slipped from its natural position. This is known as navel displacement or nabhi khisakna.

The navel is not just a mark on your belly. It is the central point of the body's nerve network and the meeting point of the digestive system's supporting muscles. When the navel shifts, upward, downward, or to either side, the intestines lose their natural position and alignment. The nerve signals controlling digestion get disturbed. The result is exactly what IBS patients experience every day: gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, cramps and a constant heaviness in the abdomen.

This is why most IBS patients have normal endoscopy, ultrasound and blood reports. The problem is not inside the gut lining, it is in the alignment of the navel and the disturbed nerve function around it. No scan easily detects a displaced navel, which is why years of tests keep coming back 'normal' while the suffering continues.

According to Lalmani Maurya's neurotherapy approach, in the majority of cases the correct path is not lifelong medication but navel correction (nabhi setting) combined with gut-brain reset. Once the navel returns to its proper position and the nervous system is calmed, the intestines resume their normal function and the symptoms slowly disappear.

  • Pain or tenderness when you press your navel inward
  • The navel feels shifted up, down or to one side compared to its original position
  • A hard or tight lump-like feeling around the navel area
  • Gas, bloating or heaviness that worsens after meals
  • Chronic constipation or loose stools that come and go
  • Lower back pain that has no clear physical cause
  • A feeling of weakness or pulling around the belly button

The Solution Not Just Medication But Healing the Entire System

The 4 pillars of freedom from IBS: Lalmani Maurya's Neurotherapy Method.
There is no magic pill here. This is a system-based approach that corrects the navel and heals the body from within.

Navel Correction (Nabhi Setting) & Neurotherapy

This is the most important part. The first step is to assess and gently correct the displaced navel through neurotherapy techniques, restoring the intestines to their natural alignment. Then we calm the autonomic nervous system so the body returns to 'rest-and-digest' mode. Once the navel is back in place and the nerves are calm, digestion begins to improve on its own.

  • Nabhi assessment and non-surgical correction
  • Diaphragmatic Breathing to calm the nervous system
  • Gut-Directed Relaxation to release abdominal tension
  • Biofeedback to learn reading and controlling your body's signals

The Right Diet (Different for Every Person)

Not everyone reacts badly to wheat or milk. Keeping a food diary and identifying your personal triggers matters far more than following a generic diet chart especially because now that the navel is being corrected, the gut will respond better to food.

  • Increase fiber gradually: green vegetables, papaya, banana and whole grains
  • Stay hydrated: at least 8–10 glasses of water a day
  • Eat smaller meals: 5–6 small portions instead of heavy meals

Lifestyle Changes

Small daily habits directly repair the gut-brain axis and protect the corrected navel position. Sleep, movement and stress management are part of the treatment, not extras.

  • Regular exercise: even a 20–30 minute walk improves gut motility
  • Complete your sleep: lack of sleep directly disrupts the gut-brain axis
  • Reduce stress: yoga, pranayama and meditation as a daily routine
  • Avoid heavy lifting and sudden jerky movements that can re-displace the navel

Home & Natural Support

Simple, safe home remedies bring quick relief during flare-ups when combined with the core treatment.

  • Fennel (saunf) water for gas and bloating
  • Ginger tea to improve digestion
  • A pinch of asafoetida (hing) in warm water for bloating

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers to what most IBS patients want to know

Can IBS really be caused by navel displacement (nabhi khisakna)?

Yes — in the majority of cases seen in neurotherapy practice, a displaced navel is the primary root cause. The navel sits at the centre of the body's nerve network, and when it shifts, the nerves controlling digestion get disturbed. This produces classic IBS symptoms even when all scans look normal. Correcting the navel position often resolves symptoms that medication could only suppress.

How can I tell if my navel is displaced?

Common signs include pain or tenderness on pressing the navel, the navel feeling shifted up, down or to one side, a hard lump-like feel around it, chronic gas and bloating, and lower back pain without clear cause. A proper assessment by a neurotherapist confirms it.

Is navel correction painful or surgical?

No. Navel correction in neurotherapy is completely non-surgical and gentle. It involves manual techniques, breathing work and postural guidance. There is no cutting, no anaesthesia and no recovery period.

Can IBS be cured completely?

There is no single 'cure' for every case, but with navel correction, neurotherapy, diet and lifestyle, the majority of patients control IBS so effectively that they live a completely normal life.

Will I have to take medication for life?

Not necessarily. The purpose of this approach is to reduce and eventually remove dependence on medication. Many patients are able to stop medicines under proper guidance.

What actually happens in neurotherapy?

It includes navel assessment and correction, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and body-mind connection exercises that calm the nervous system. It is completely non-invasive and drug-free.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the severity and duration of your symptoms and how long the navel has been displaced. Most patients begin noticing improvement within 2–3 weeks. A complete plan is decided after your first assessment.
